Quicksilver Surfboards
Quicksilver is a major US company that sells surfing equipment including custom designed surfboards. The Quicksilver logo is a prominent one that features a big wave next to a mountain against a red background. A variety of shapers design high quality and advanced surfboards for Quicksilver. Each of these shapers introduced ground breaking technology that ultimately changed the world of surfing. One of the earliest advancements was designed by Simon Anderson in 1980 and it featured three fins on a board. This design still dominates the industry. Other Quicksilver shapers have included Brett Warner, Mark Phipps, Mark Richards and Greg Brown. With such dedication to surfing, the company began the Quicksilver Pro surfing tournament that is regularly held in Australia.
