McTavish Surfboards
McTavish Surfboards are designed by Bob McTavish who first began producing boards in 1962. McTavish boards have been shaped by the designer for major companies as well as professional surfers. One of the revolutionary designs introduced by McTavish is the Tuflite epoxy construction. This material became extremely popular during the 90s. The McTavish factory operates in Byron Bay, Australia and distributes dozens of models internationally. Any type of surfer will find a design and board construction that fits his needs with McTavish. The latest innovation is the SLX EPS/epoxy construction that combines these materials for a lighter and more flexible board.
